Cybeats Signs Three-Year Contract With Fortune 500 Medtech Company

Cybeats Technologies Corp. (CSE: CYBT) (OTCQB: CYBCF) has signed a three-year cybersecurity contract with an unnamed Fortune 500 medical-technology company.

The customer selected Cybeats following what the company described as an extensive procurement evaluation. Under the agreement, Cybeats will provide its software bill of materials and vulnerability-management technology for use within the customer’s regulated operating environment.

Cybeats did not disclose the customer’s identity, the value of the contract or its expected contribution to annual recurring revenue.

A software bill of materials, commonly called an SBOM, provides an inventory of the components and dependencies contained within a software product. This information can help companies determine whether their products contain components affected by newly identified security vulnerabilities.

Cybeats’ SBOM Studio platform is designed to centralize that information and provide organizations with an audit-ready record covering their software supply chains. The company also offers RAVEN, an AI-based intelligence layer that analyzes SBOM data to help prioritize vulnerabilities and support security decisions.

“We are pleased that another Fortune 500 global company has selected Cybeats for a mission-critical deployment,” CEO Justin Leger said.

Medical-device manufacturers face increased requirements to identify and manage cybersecurity risks. Under Section 524B of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, manufacturers of qualifying cyber devices must provide the U.S. Food and Drug Administration with an SBOM covering commercial, open-source and off-the-shelf software components.

Current FDA guidance also addresses vulnerability monitoring, security updates and cybersecurity processes across the product lifecycle. These requirements create a potential commercial market for software that organizes component information and supports continuing vulnerability management.

The three-year contract expands Cybeats’ presence in the medical-device industry, but its financial effect cannot yet be assessed because commercial terms were withheld.

Cybeats reported second-quarter revenue of C$815,769, an increase of 9.5% from C$744,664 one year earlier. Its quarterly net loss narrowed by 4% to C$764,074.

For the first half of 2026, revenue increased 11% to C$1.58 million, while the net loss widened to C$3.20 million from C$2.01 million. The company attributed much of that increase to a C$1.57 million noncash expense related to option grants.

Cybeats ended the second quarter with C$261,643 in cash, down from C$1.07 million at the end of the preceding quarter. It subsequently completed an oversubscribed C$1.9 million private placement.

Upcoming Catalysts

Future financial reports could provide information about the contract’s contribution to revenue and Cybeats’ annual recurring revenue. Investors may also watch for deployment milestones, additional medical-device customers and further adoption of SBOM Studio and RAVEN.

The company’s next results will provide an updated view of its revenue growth, operating losses and cash position following the C$1.9 million financing. Cybeats has not disclosed whether the new customer could expand the agreement beyond its initial three-year term.
