Carrier Connect Expands Data Center Capacity 52% With Atlanta Lease

Carrier Connect Data Solutions Inc. (TSXV: CCDS) (OTCQB: CCDSF) has expanded its U.S. data center portfolio through a long-term lease on a four-megawatt facility in Alpharetta, Georgia.

The Canadian data center operator announced that the facility increases its total power capacity under management by approximately 52%, from 7.7 megawatts to 11.7 megawatts.

Located in the Atlanta metropolitan area, the property contains approximately 184,553 rentable square feet across a 20-acre site. Carrier Connect said the data center is fully built and ready for customer deployments, reducing the construction work and development time associated with a new facility.

The lease began October 15 and has an initial term of 186 months, or 15.5 years. Carrier Connect also secured two additional five-year renewal options through its wholly owned Purecolo USA subsidiary.

The Alpharetta facility currently receives four megawatts of power from Georgia Power but was historically supplied with 10 megawatts. Its onsite transformer is rated for 10 megawatts, providing a possible path to restore another six megawatts.

That expansion remains subject to Georgia Power’s requirements and sufficient customer demand. If the full 10 megawatts becomes available, Carrier Connect’s total portfolio capacity could reach approximately 17.7 megawatts.

The company intends to market the facility to colocation, cloud-computing, artificial-intelligence and high-performance-computing customers. Management said it has developed a pipeline of prospective opportunities but did not disclose signed tenants, binding customer commitments or expected revenue from the facility.

Carrier Connect described the transaction as non-dilutive because it leased the property rather than purchasing a business or issuing shares. However, the company did not disclose the lease payments, operating expenses, initial occupancy level or capital spending that may be required to support customer deployments and additional power capacity.

The expansion follows a period of acquisition-driven growth. In its latest available quarterly results, Carrier Connect reported C$910,136 in revenue for the three months ended March 31, up 849% from the prior-year period. Gross profit increased to C$295,373 from C$38,829.

The company’s unaudited financial statements reported a C$1.66 million quarterly net loss and C$2.48 million in operating cash use over the first nine months of fiscal 2026.

Carrier Connect ended March with C$9.86 million in cash. That balance followed the completion of a C$10.5 million private placement in February, with proceeds designated partly for acquisitions, debt repayment, data center improvements and expansion.

Upcoming Catalysts

The principal near-term catalyst will be the signing and deployment of customers at the Alpharetta facility. Future announcements could provide the first concrete information about occupancy, contracted power, customer concentration and revenue expectations.

Investors may also watch for Georgia Power approval to restore additional capacity, details about the cost of the long-term lease and Carrier Connect’s next financial report. Until customers and commercial terms are disclosed, the revenue contribution from Alpharetta—and the company’s statement that it expects the location to serve AI clients—remains uncertain.
