Quanta AI Secures C$300K in Banking and Insurance Contracts

Quanta AI Secures C$300K in Banking and Insurance Contracts

Quanta AI Inc. (TSXV: QNTA) (OTC: DTMXF) has disclosed approximately C$300,000 in enterprise software and automation contracts serving the banking and insurance industries.

The company reported an estimated gross margin of approximately 65% across the contracts, which would imply roughly C$195,000 in gross profit if the estimate is achieved.

The work includes the implementation of JobMIND, Quanta AI’s artificial-intelligence-driven customer-communications solution. Other services cover disaster-recovery infrastructure, ransomware backup and recovery improvements, and enterprise-system development.

Quanta AI did not disclose the customers, the number or individual value of the contracts, their commencement dates or the proportion assigned to each service. The company said it received final payment in September 2026 but did not specify whether all services had been completed or how much revenue was recognized during a particular reporting period.

The announcement follows the company’s transition from Datametrex AI Limited to Quanta AI. Its shares began trading under the QNTA symbol on September 14.

Quanta operates its enterprise-technology business through South Korea-based Datametrex Korea. The subsidiary provides data center infrastructure, private-cloud and hyperconverged systems, software automation, implementation and managed services.

The company also has an intellectual-property division focused on acquiring, developing and licensing technology patents. In September, management announced plans to wind down Quanta’s Canadian healthcare operations and concentrate its resources on AI, data center technology and patent licensing.

Quanta’s latest audited annual financial statements were filed under the Datametrex name. For the year ended March 31, 2026, consolidated revenue totaled C$7.47 million, nearly unchanged from the prior year. AI and technology operations generated C$4.87 million of that total.

Annual gross profit declined to C$2.16 million from C$3.30 million. The net loss widened to C$12.65 million from C$3.40 million, including a C$6.05 million impairment charge against goodwill and intangible assets.

Quanta ended the fiscal year with C$1.07 million in cash, a C$1.76 million working-capital deficit and total liabilities exceeding total assets. The auditor identified a material uncertainty that may cast significant doubt on the company’s ability to continue as a going concern.

Upcoming Catalysts

Future disclosures could clarify whether the newly announced contracts lead to continuing support work, repeat orders or recurring revenue. Investors may also watch for additional banking and insurance customers, JobMIND deployments and progress in Quanta’s patent-licensing business.

The company’s next financial report will be particularly important for determining whether its technology revenue and margins are improving following the healthcare wind-down. Quanta has transitioned to semiannual reporting, making the six-month period ending September 30 its next scheduled financial reporting period.
